Creating and implementing food production, distribution, and consumption practices that minimize environmental impact while supporting human health and social equity, WICE works across the food system to optimize resources to reduce waste, promote regenerative agriculture, and prioritize local food economies.
Health and Nutrition
Strengthening healthcare systems, promoting sustainable healthcare practices, enhancing access to nutritious food, and supporting innovations that address malnutrition and disease prevention.
Environment and Energy Solutions
Designing solutions that integrate natural processes and ecosystem function to address environmental, social, and economic challenges, such as energy needs, disaster risk, and water security. WICE collaborates with the private sector, academics and community stakeholders to identify long term, cost-effective investments that are grounded on protecting ecosystem services.
