Professional Bio:

Dr. Charlotte Colvin has more than 25 years of experience in the design, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of global development programs. Her expertise is concentrated in public health and she spent the last 12 years as a contractor in the Office of Infectious Disease in USAID’s Bureau of Global Health. In her role as Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor for the Tuberculosis team, she was responsible for analysis and reporting of key indicators required to track programming and outcomes, including the Annual Report to Congress, and for liaising with key partners such as the World Health Organization to align M&E approaches. For the past five years, she led USAID’s activities to improve TB services for children, including the introduction of innovative methods to diagnose and treat pediatric TB in Africa and Asia. She also supported USAID missions in Mozambique and Zambia as a virtual member of their infectious disease teams, providing virtual and in-person technical assistance to their TB portfolios. Prior to this position, she worked with USAID implementing partners for more than 10 years to support implementation of global health projects with a focus on monitoring, evaluation and learning.
