Professional Bio:

Danielle Advani is a global nutrition and food systems specialist with expertise in policy engagement, knowledge dissemination, and evidence translation. As Communications, Knowledge Management, and Learning Advisor in USAID’s Center for Nutrition, she led cross-sectoral learning and evidence dissemination across the Feed the Future nutrition portfolio, supporting country-level uptake of food systems approaches. She has supported nutrition initiatives across seven country offices, served as Activity Manager for five major nutrition and food systems programs, and implemented qualitative research in rural LMIC settings. Danielle has facilitated high-level, multi-stakeholder workshops and authored policy, technical and advocacy reports for diverse audiences. She has represented food systems priorities in global policy platforms, including the Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Donor Network. Danielle holds a BA in Public Health from Brown University and an MSc in Nutrition for Global Health from LSHTM.
