Professional Bio:
Evan Notman is an international development, climate change, and conservation expert with more than 20 years of experience working across Latin America, South East Asia, and Africa. His work has focused on climate policy, forest conservation and nature based finance systems.
Evan has held leadership roles with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and was a regular member of the U.S. negotiating team to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) . Evan also led USAID’s role in major global programs to improve forest and land use monitoring systems and build national and local capacity for land use monitoring to inform good land management.
