Professional Bio:
Faith Bartz Tarr has over a decade of experience in federal agricultural research program management. She most recently served as a Development Officer in the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Bureau for Resilience, Environment, and Food Security, supporting the Center for Agriculture-Led Growth. In this role, she led the development of agricultural innovations and delivery pathways for sustainable productivity and resilience for smallholder farmers. Faith has a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from North Carolina State University and professional experience across academia, private, and public sector in food and agriculture systems research. Driven by passions for food, learning, and human dignity, Faith advances science to serve society, fosters evidence-based policy, and supports agricultural innovation to promote prosperity.
