Professional Bio:
Fisseha Moges, MPH, PMP®, is a public health leader and certified project manager with more than 17 years of experience advancing maternal, newborn, child, adolescent, and youth health across Africa. Until recently, he worked as a Project Management Specialist at USAID Ethiopia, where he managed a $124M family planning and maternal health portfolio, introduced innovations such as postpartum hemorrhage bundles and point-of-care ultrasound, and contributed to multi-country initiatives like PROPEL.
Prior to USAID, Fisseha served as National Program Management Advisor at Pathfinder International, providing strategic direction and operational leadership for over seven years. He spearheaded large-scale health innovations, led a $30M sub-granting program, and strengthened partnerships with government and donors. His earlier experience includes program leadership roles at the Family Guidance Association of Ethiopia and academic service as Lecturer and Academic Dean at Ethio International Medical College.
Recognized as results-driven and collaborative, Fisseha combines technical expertise in health systems strengthening, project design, and monitoring with proven leadership in managing complex donor-funded programs. He is fluent in Amharic and English and remains committed to building stronger health systems and achieving sustainable health outcomes.
