With over 20 years of experience in sustainable resource management, Jeanette brings a pragmatic approach to balancing environmental conservation with human development needs. As an Urban Planner with expertise in environmental and social safeguards, water resource management, and land use planning, she has dedicated her career to creating implementable solutions to complex sustainability challenges.

Experience Highlights:

Managed over $115M in water resource management and biodiversity conservation projects

Designed innovative climate integration tools for USAID and its implementing partners

Oversaw environmental and social compliance for development programs totaling over $900M

Trained more than 1,850 staff and partners on USAID's environmental and social safeguarding procedures

As a Project Management Professional and a LEED Green Associate, Jeanette remains committed to advancing sustainable practices across sectors. She is particularly passionate about protecting indigenous populations and supporting communities as they adapt to climate change impacts.

Jeanette is an avid trail runner, cyclist, and loves to learn and practice languages. She is also a Master Recycler.
