Professional Bio:

Ken brings more than 30 years of experience in climate science and community-centered resilience—ranging from early research on carbon dioxide and methane in the atmosphere to leading resilience initiatives across 17 cities in South and Southeast Asia. His work consistently underscores the importance of systems practice as a catalyst for transformative climate action, building the capacities needed to reduce emissions, enhance resilience, and navigate a changing climate. In his recent role as Senior Climate Change Specialist with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) he helped shape climate policy and practice across sectors, contributed to the Agency’s Artificial Intelligence Working Group and represented USAID on the Urban Resilience Interagency Working Group for the National Climate Assessment.
