She has a proven ability to lead complex, cross-sector programs that accelerate the energy transition, expand energy access, and enhance the performance and resilience of power systems in emerging and developing markets.
Kristen is adept at forging strategic partnerships with national governments, utilities, and multilateral donors. She has collaborated extensively with leading U.S. research institutions, including the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), to deliver integrated solutions that respond to both local development priorities and global climate goals.
She has overseen the design and implementation of large-scale programs focused on utility reform, grid modernization, and the deployment of advanced clean energy technologies. Her work has supported the modernization of utility business models through strategic planning, digital transformation, and performance benchmarking. Kristen has also provided targeted technical assistance to utilities and regulatory agencies to manage growing energy demand, integrate renewable energy, and mitigate cybersecurity risks within increasingly complex grid environments.
