Professional Bio:
Lisa provides strategic leadership and consulting on partnerships with corporations, investors, philanthropy, and donors to unlock catalytic capital. She also serves as a mentor for the Salzburg Global’s Public Policy New Voices Europe Fellowship and Georgetown University Walsh Graduate School of Foreign Service Capstone. During her public service career at USAID and the U.S. Department of State, Lisa led partnerships with The Walt Disney Company/National Geographic, LEGO Foundation, and Volvo Group. She chaired multi-stakeholder groups, and negotiated bilateral and multilateral policy at the UN and UNESCO. Earlier in her career, Lisa designed strategic communications and stakeholder engagement strategies for government and corporate clients at Booz Allen Hamilton, and for non-profit organisations focused on transition and post-conflict economies. She also wrote for the Economist Intelligence Unit and international publications. Her academic career includes a MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, a BA from SUNY-Albany and University of Copenhagen, Denmark, with doctoral fellowship coursework at The George Washington University. Lisa is a Fulbright Fellow (Slovenia) and former Board President of the National Capital Area Chapter of the Fulbright Alumni Association.
